- Content you submit — messages and other text you send so the app can respond; posts you choose to share with other users (if that feature is available).
- Preferences — language and similar settings saved on your device.
- Purchases — store purchase tokens needed to credit digital items you buy in the app.
- Technical logs — basic request data (such as IP address, device type, and timestamps) used for security and reliability.
We do not require an email/password account to chat. We do not collect your contacts, precise location for sharing with other users, or microphone recordings for core chat. On-device read-aloud uses your device’s system voice and does not upload audio to us.
2. How we use information
- Provide chat, catalog, and related features.
- Process in-app purchases and prevent abuse.
- Operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Enforce our rules and applicable store policies.
- Comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers
We use trusted hosting, payment, and AI service providers to run the product. Content you submit may be processed by those providers solely to deliver the feature you requested (for example generating a reply or image). They process data under their own terms.
4. Shared posts
If you use sharing features, other users may see what you post. Do not share personal information you want to keep private. To report or request removal of shared content, email us at the address below.
5. Retention
Local data stays on your device until you clear app or site storage. Server records are kept only as needed to run the service, fulfill purchases, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties.
6. Age requirement
Sashimi Chat is for users 18 years of age or older only. Do not use the app if you are under 18. Contact us if you believe someone under 18 provided data, and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Your choices
- Clear app or browser storage to remove local data.
- Avoid putting sensitive personal details into chat or shared posts.
- Email us to request deletion of server-side data tied to your device ID when feasible.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
